Love at First 400m

When I was 7 years old, my dad took me to see Michael Johnson race in the 1996 Olympics. It was love at first 400m.

Since I started this blog back in 2010, I’ve written papers on the Games, interned with the USOC, worked with a Paralympic Sports Club in DC, and made lifelong friends along the way.

If the Olympics are my passion, then this blog is my diary.

“Life is often compared to a marathon, but I think it is more like being a sprinter: long stretches of hard work punctuated by brief moments in which we are given the opportunity to perform at our best.” ~ Michael Johnson
